1. One Teaspoon Bandits Shorts (Pharaoh--dark wash denim) ($78)
2. One Teaspoon Bandits Shorts (Frankie--light wash denim) ($78)
I have been absolutely OBSESSED with One Teaspoon denim shorts. Although it's pricier than how much I would usually spend on an item of clothing, I decided to invest in these babies because I knew they would be worth it. And I was freaking right. I think I wear these shorts every single chance I get to.
I ordered my usual size but it ended up being way too big on me, so instead of wearing these high waisted, I managed to wear them low rise and baggy (which I honestly prefer more--because they give a comfy and casual look/feel.) So if you're thinking about buying shorts from One Teaspoon, I would recommend sizing down if you want a more fitted look. (I usually wear size 24-25 but these are in 26 for that loose fitted look)
3. Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector SPF 42 ($30)
I don't go on a day without using this sunscreen. A must have in my everyday routine. For a full review on this sunscreen, go check out my June Favorites post!!
4. Birkenstock Arizona Birko-Flor Sandals ($90)
Obsessed. Drooled over. Finally purchased. And finally feeling satisfied.
These shoes are perfect for everyday wear in the summer because in my opinion, these sandals are versatile--meaning they can be dressed up or down very easily. They keep your feet cool and comfy for those hot summer days.
5. BlowPro Beach Blow Texturizing Spray ($21)
Beach waves without having to go to the beach. This is easy to use and gives you an effortless gorgeous look. Unlike most beach wave texturizing sprays, this doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky or just plain disgusting.
6. Ray Ban Classic Aviators in Gold ($150)
A timeless and classic staple for any season. Don't forget to protect your eyes!!
7. Zara Basic V Neck (black and white)
These are definitely a must have all year long. I personally don't like printed clothes so I go for plain and contemporary pieces. Clean and simple--just the way I like it. Plus, they go with almost anything and everything! Makes life so much easier.
8. Essie (find me an oasis) and (a crewed interest)
Whether it be neon or pastel, bright colored polishes are a great way of making a statement without really having to make a statement. Soothing and refreshing. Subtle yet sublime.
9. UO lace bralette (black and nude)
Am I the only one that thinks it is totally ridiculous to have to wear a bra during hot days??? Although they might not be safe for work or cool summer nights (yikes!), I'd still prefer bralettes over bras during the summer. They are lightweight and flexible and just soooo much more comfortable.
What are some of your summer staples?? :-)
