June Favorites 2014

1. Lavanila Laboratories The Healthy Deodorant (in Vanilla summer) ($14)

Pretty pricey for a deodorant but I would absolutely recommend this product. Smells amazing, surprisingly moisturizing yet keeps you dry throughout the day. I wouldn't use this for work out days or if you're going to be moving around a LOT that day, but for everyday use, this one's a keeper!

2. Shiseido Urban Environment Oil Free UV Protector SPF 42 ($30)

I think this is a great sunscreen lotion, especially for everyday use. It has a slightly watery (?) consistency but it doesn't really bother me. I actually like that it's more watery rather than it having a thicker consistency because it becomes easier to blend and spread out. It feels very lightweight on the skin--which is ideal for me because I hate feeling heavy and cakey. Plus, since it IS summer, you wouldn't want all of that product to melt off your face and would prefer a lightweight sunscreen. Unlike other sunscreens, this does not make me feel greasy or oily. Definitely a great buy.

3. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion ($26)

Ideal for dry skin. Doesn't make me oily or greasy and just does the job right. I use this for my morning and evening routine. I had the travel sized version at first--just in case I wouldn't like it but after use, I went out the very next day to get myself the full sized version. I absolutely love it.

4. Benefit Cosmetics CORALista Blush ($28)

The perfect coral for a great summery look. I would recommend using a light hand with this at first because it is very pigmented and if you apply it wrong, it might look TOO orangey and shimmery. I've been using this everyday because I am completely obsessed with this color and I think it just matches the summer feel. Plus, it smells soooo good.

5. NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder ($35) 

I think this does wonders. You can easily tell the difference with or without it. It "completes" my look and gives me a very soft and photo perfect finish. After using this, I ditched my oil blotting paper because I just simply didn't need to use it throughout the day anymore! (Just to be safe, I apply this THEN apply the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray on top--keeps me matte and put together the whole day)

Honest to blog, I think all of these products are repurchase worthy. I will definitely be needing more of these because I have been consistently using these every single day.
