Here are three products I've bought on impulse and was actually quite really impressed by them!--two of which are well known among the beauty community and raved about so I decided to give them a try.
1. Christian Dior Creme de Rose ($27)
Ok, ok...I know what you're all thinking...."why would you ever spend that much on a lip balm?!" IN MY DEFENSE, it's pretty. LOL jk, well not really. It IS pretty to look at and it feels even prettier on the lips, if you know what I mean.
I honestly have mixed feelings about this product. People kept saying how this lip balm is pretty much worth what you spend. It DOES feel luxurious, velvety and it seems to moisturize your lips very well-plus, it has a pretty floral, rosy scent.
If you're not into rose fragrances, I would still recommend trying this product out because the scent isn't overwhelming or anything like that.
I actually use this as more of an overnight moisturizing lip balm, instead of bringing it with me wherever I go because first off, I don't want to use it up so fast because it's pricey, and because if I'm out and about, I don't want to use my finger to apply this to my lips.
However, I do have to admit that I was a bit disappointed by this product because it was just SO raved about and I thought it would change my life or something because everyone kept talking about how amazing this product was. It's not AMAZING, but it's still good. Would I repurchase? Maybe. Still iffy about this one even though I love it.

For this size of this product, I have to admit it is on the pricier side but holy crap. It works wonders.
This eyebrow gel isn't like your typical eyebrow gel. In addition to keeping your eyebrow hairs in place, it actually makes your eyebrows look a lot thicker and fuller. I would say that it's kind of like a brow pen and gel all in one--but it really isn't?? I'm not quite sure how to explain it but guys...this works wonders.
I think that I have pretty full brows but I do have this wonky eyebrow that has a bald spot? and after a little plucking incident, my right eye brow's tail won't grow back and ugh it's just an abomination. So after countless times of trying out different eyebrow products to even out my eyebrows and make them look normal, I stumbled upon this eyebrow. Girl, this shit is good. SO good, I even bought a backup recently even though I'm not done with my first one because I know I'll be using this all the time.
Unlike other eyebrow gels or tinted ones, this makes your eyebrows look very natural. It doesn't make you look like you slapped on a bunch of shit on your eyebrows and gives you that caterpillar eyebrow effect.
I have this product in the light/medium shade because I thought that the darker one would look TOO dark for me. Although my eyebrow hairs are naturally dark, the gel lightens up my hairs and makes it look very natural and soft.
For all my sparse eyebrow ladies and gents out there, I would recommend using this and if you really need to fill those brows in, I would also recommend Anastasia Brow Wiz and Benefit Gimme Brow Gel to really reach that natural, gorgeous brow look.
*One downside to this product: the formula is great but the packaging kind of sucks. It dries out the product inside like old mascara, but if you're an avid user like me and use this everyday, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

3. Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up ($30)
When I first swatched this on my hand, I felt that it would be too orange for me because on my hand it looked SO noticeable and it didn't feel quite right. So, I walked out and tried to forget about this product.
BUT I couldn't stop thinking about this highlighter for a few weeks. LOL I guess I must've really wanted it and I dunno, there was just something inside me that told me it's going to be alright and just purchase it already!! So, I did :-) and I am sooooo glad that I listened to myself.
It didn't look orange at all when I applied it and it gave me this "lit from within" kind of look!!!
All I have to say is this product really impressed me and I don't go a DAY without using it. It's a great subtle highlighter that makes you look awake and ready for the day!
(*beware of using the sponge applicator because it tends to just rub off your foundation and all the other shit you put on your face--I like to use my fingers and use a patting motion to apply the product on my cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of my nose and cupid's bow.)
