I've been totally OBSESSED with Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector ($23) ever since I got my hands on it. I've only been using these two products because I don't feel the need to grab for another lip product.
The texture is really smooth and almost velvety--without it being too sticky. I think it's like NYX butter gloss but taken to a whole new level. Level: LUXURIOUS. For me, I feel like the shade 02 (Apricot Shimmer)--which is a slightly coral/pink shade is a "my lip color but better" and the shade 05 (Candy Shimmer)--which is slightly nude/pink is a "bit toned down my lip color." It's also pretty moisturizing so you don't have to carry around a lip balm/chapstick AND another lip product.
The packaging itself is gorgeous. The only down side to this product is that the applicator seems to collect EVERYTHING. So, if y'all don't exfoliate your lips before using this, you're probably going to have clumps of dead lip skin on the applicator. I find myself cleaning the applicator a lot more often than I should? But I guess it's better than never cleaning it at all.
So if you're looking for a lip gloss with lip balm action that gives you a "my lip color but better" color, I would recommend this product.
