Hi guys! Long time no blog post!! It's been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I'd share my July Favorites with you guys!! even though it's kind of late? but better late than never, right?? :-)
These are a couple products I've accumulated over the summer and have been really enjoying on a daily basis:
Remember back in my beauty haul post, I bought the Clarins 7 wonders gift set?? I honestly had second thoughts about it right after I purchased it but I decided to give it a shot. (Returns are a hassle anyway) BUT wow, I'm so glad I didn't go ahead to return it. After the first use of each and every product in that gift set, I was hooked.
I ESPECIALLY love the Clarins Toning Lotion with Camomile because it's gentle and alcohol free, which hydrates the skin very nicely and has a very nice subtle fresh scent to it. I use this during my morning and night routine. If you have dry skin like me, I would recommend giving this product a try.
I also really love the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser--although it does sting my eyes a tiny bit, but it's nothing to complain about. It thoroughly cleanses my makeup off and leaves my face feeling super clean, soft and radiant. Both of these Clarins products seem to have really great reviews and I wouldn't disagree one bit.
I never go a day without using my Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer. This primer really does its job well--giving you a silky, soft satin finish so your foundation can glide and blend across your face effortlessly. Gives the most flawless finish and feels very lightweight. I would add this to every monthly favorites if I could. I mean, I could...but I won't ;-)
I've also been really loving The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter. I love almost all of The Body Shop products honestly. Nothing to complain about. Their body butter gives just the right amount of moisture to the clean without feeling too heavy or greasy and don't even get me started on the scent!! Heavenly and delicious--each and every one of their scents. I feel like most of the products out there have very artificial range of scents (whether its too overpowering or too sweet or too ANYTHING)
However, this raspberry scent doesn't smell fake(?) I guess? I think it smells exactly like what you think raspberries would smell or taste like. Sweet yet tangy. All I'm trying to say is, The Body Shop does not joke around when it comes to grasping the exact scent they're going after. Well done TBS, well freaking done.
Also been loving my Korres Milk Proteins Foaming Cleanser. This is the first product I've ever tried from their line and I'm actually quite impressed!! This honestly just caught my eye because I saw the word "Milk" so....yeah. LOL But it does the job quite well and it's gentle!! and foaming once you rinse it with water!!
I have to be honest with you guys but I expected a lot more from the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush but you can't really beat the price. I like the brush. It works well and blends out everything easily but it didn't really meet my expectations (probably because everyone raves about this but I shouldn't have had such high expectations anyway) I do really like the size of this brush though--very travel friendly. Does the job quite well and pretty inexpensive!
And last but not least, everyone's trusty Anastasia Brow Wiz. I think this product is one of my holy grails. I don't remember if I've ever talked about this product before but it's definitely an everyday essential for me. This brow pencil has a really fine tip so it's great for really filling in your brows for a very light and natural look. I also pay really close attention to drawing the "tail" of my eyebrow (since mine disappeared *cries*) and this pencil just does the job right for me. It also has a spooly on the other end so it comes in handy for blending and softening your eyebrows. (I have this in Caramel but this shade does have too much red pigmentation for my hair color but eh, I'd rather use it all up before I go out and get another one.)
That's it for my July Favorites!! A fairly lengthy post but I hope you guys found it helpful in anyway :-)
